When we heard submissions were coming around for this year’s American Advertising Awards, we thought—sure, let’s throw our hat in the ring.
One of the first designs that came to mind was the work we created for Pescanova’s Seafood Tapas, a line of sustainably-sourced, shareable skewers, designed to transport your taste buds with seafood you can be proud to savor and delicious sauces inspired by global recipes.
Taking inspiration from the beauty of the sea and the effortless feeling of watercolors, we created a unique, modern, and fresh identity for Pescanova Seafood Tapas. Hand-painted typography, original watercolor illustrations (paying homage to Pescanova’s fishing process), and appetite-stirring photography, all come together to make the package and logotype shine.
The designs certainly caught the attention of this year’s panel of judges for the American Advertising Awards, and on February 28, 2019, Team Creatif USA was presented with 2 Silver ADDYs for packaging campaign and logo design.
The February Awards Gala featured top professionals and celebrated excellence in design work for the marketing and advertising space.
We are incredibly proud of our design team, account team, and the team at Pescanova—all of whom played integral roles in bringing this project to life and making it a success. We feel so honored to have been recognized in the Charlotte design community—thank you to AAF Charlotte and the panel of judges.
